... an attractive,
well equipped, traditional lakeland stone cottage
in the heart of the English Lake District.
Situated on the western side of Lake Windermere
in the small hamlet of Near Sawrey, opposite the
infamous Tower Bank Arms and Hill Top, which was
Beatrix Potter's former home. The Cottage was
featured on the cover of the Potter book 'The
Pie and the Patty Pan' and in her book 'The Fairy
Caravan'.
Steeped in local history, the detached double-fronted
cottage was originally the village bakery, and
more recently was the well known 'Molly Green's
Tea Rooms.
